Three Card Poker: Game Rules

The object of Three Card Poker is to form a hand, using the ranking as listed below, which ranks higher than the player/dealer’s hand. Hand rankings are as follows:

Prior to the deal, all players must place an ante wager in accordance with the table limits. The house dealer then deals each seated player three (three) card, face down starting with the first player to the left of the dealer, moving in a clockwise direction around the table. The player/ dealer will also be dealt three (3) cards, two face down and one card face up. The player/dealer may not touch the cards. Players are then given two options.

• Fold the hand and forfeit their ante wager and bonus wager (if applicable); or
• Stay in the game by making a play bet; this bet must be equal to the ante wager

After each player has either placed a play bet wager or has forfeited their ante wager bonus the house dealer shall reveal the player/dealer’s remaining cards and begin comparing each player’s hand to the player/dealer’s hand. The player/dealer must qualify to play with a minimum of a Queen high. If the player/ dealer’s hand does not qualify, the play bet receives no action and will be and will be immediately returned to each player who did not fold. Additionally, if the player/dealer’s hand did not qualify, each ante that was not surrendered will receive action as follows:

• The house dealer will automatically pay each ante even money, on behalf of the player/dealer, regardless of whether the player’s hand ranks higher than the player/dealer’s hand or not.

If the player/dealer’s hand qualifies with a queen-high or better, the dealer will begin comparing each player’s hand to the player/dealer’s. If the player’s hand ranks higher than the player/dealer’s hand, the player is paid even money. If the player/dealer’s ranks higher than the player’s hand, the player loses and the ante and play wagers are collected. If the player and the player/dealer’s hands have identical rankings, the hand is push and no ante or play wagers are paid or taken. All bets receive action to the extent that the player/dealer’s wager covers. The round of play ends when the player/dealer exhausts their wager or when all wagers receive full action, whichever occurs first.

Pair Plus Wager

The Pair Plus wager is an optional bet for players who have placed an ante bet

• The Pair Plus bet must be placed prior to the initial deal
• The Pair Plus bet must be made within table betting limits to qualify for a Pair Plus payoff
• The Pair Plus wager cannot exceed Ante wager
• The Pair Plus bet considers the three (3) cards dealt to the player. If the player’s hand qualifies based on those three (3) cards, according to the table below, the player is paid according to the posted pay table
• If the player’s hand does not qualify according to the table, the wager loses
• The player/dealer will pay all winning Pair Plus bets and will collect all housing bonus bets. Once the player/dealer’s wager has been exhausted, the wagers not covered by the player/dealer will be returned to the players

1. A Machine Malfunction Voids All Plays and Pays
2. If Multiple Cards From the Player/Dealer Hand are Exposed During the Deal, all Pays and Plays and Pays are Void
3. Players are Not to Look at Their Cards Until the Dealer has Placed the Player/Dealer’s Hand in Front of the tray with One Card Turned Face Up.
4. Players who wish to play more than one hand must do so on consecutive wagering positions without skipping a position.
