Blackjack is card game where the objective of the game is to make or get as close to 21 points as possible without going over and/or beating the dealer’s hand. Players are dealt two initial cards face-up.

All number cards value equal their number value while 10,Jack,Queen and King value is 10points. Ace is worth 1 or 11 points.

After a player is dealt 2 cards they then have the option to hit (get dealt another card), stay (dealt no more cards), split (separate players 2 hole cards to two different hands – only if their are equal), double-down (double a players bet only after the first two cards are dealt; players will only receive one card) or surrender (lose but only 1/2 the bet).

After all players have acted the dealer then flips over both their cards. 16 and under point total dealer must hit. 17 and higher dealer stands. If a player’s total is higher than dealer’s total then player wins. Also if dealer points total exceeds 21 and player’s point total is under 21 the player(s) win.

1. Players may double-down on the first two cards
2. Players may split any two cards of equal value
3. Players may surrender at anytime if they do not exceed 20.
4. If a Player’s hand has a value of 24 or 25 with three cards – and the dealer’s hand total is higher than the player’s hand then the hand will push.

Buster Bet Bonus
New to Napa Valley Casino is the Buster Bet Bonus. Players are allowed to place a bonus bet on whether the dealer’s hand bust. The higher amount of cards it takes the dealer to bust the higher the payout.
